STI Testing: How long will it take to get my STI results?

Here at Alcove Health Women’s Clinic, you will receive your STI test results in 5 business days. You’ll get your results via your preferred method of contact. Your results will also be posted in your patient portal. If your STI testing results are negative, Hurray! If your results are positive, we will provide you with treatment options in the local area.

A few key points about STI testing here at Alcove Health:

• All testing is by vaginal swab. If you have a male partner, we can provide you with other local options for your partner.
• We provide STI testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trich(omoniasis). Need testing for a different STI, or full-panel testing? Contact us and we can help you locate another option so you can (hopefully) get it all done in one appointment.
• Worried about a possible pregnancy as well? Our protocol is to provide every client with a lab-grade pregnancy test during the STI testing appointment. You’ll have the results of the pregnancy test before leaving your appointment!
• Need help quickly? We are one of the few clinics in the area providing free STI testing, so our slots can fill up quickly (sorry about that!). But, if you go online to schedule your appointment and don’t see a slot available, please contact us directly by phone here – we may have a same day (or next day) appointment slot that has opened up just for you!
